Iqra is designed to help users read and memorize the Qur’an.
We do not show ads, we do not sell personal data, and we only use trusted services
to keep your progress and account secure.
Account information: Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or anonymous Firebase account.
Usage data: App interaction data (such as screen views, feature usage, and session duration) collected via Firebase Analytics.
Progress data: Reading and memorization progress stored in Firebase.
Device information: Basic device and OS data for diagnostics.
3. Permissions
Storage: Used only to save downloaded Qur’an content for offline use.
We do not access photos or personal files.
No access to camera, microphone, or location is required.
4. How We Use Data
Authenticate users and restore their progress.
Improve app stability and performance.
Save user preferences and memorization status.
5. Data Sharing
Data is shared only with Firebase (Google) for authentication,
storage, and analytics purposes. We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.
6. Data Retention
We retain user data for as long as the account exists.
If you delete your account, associated data is removed from our systems.
7. Children’s Privacy
Iqra is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such data has been collected, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
8. Security
Your data is stored using Firebase’s secure infrastructure.
We rely on industry-standard security practices to protect user information.
9. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
Iqra offers optional auto-renewable in-app subscriptions
to unlock premium features such as advanced memorization tools and extended functionality.
All payments are processed securely by the Apple App Store.
We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment or billing information.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.
